Promo "Totally lost it". If I wanted to be funny...but unfortunately this album turned out really bad.

Of course. I usually only write reviews after listening to the actual music. My first opinion was that it was very weak musically and mastering-wise. Promo was never an outstanding artist, but one or two of his tracks are more than good.

man i don´t know never an outstanding artist. True Tones is absolutely crazy. And this one lives up to it in some ways, which i like very much. Promo is an odd fella compared to what is going on with others, he always rides a very certain lane that you do not find elsewere. Also, his Sets are mental sometimes, caught him opening the black a couple of years ago and that was just a hefty show worthy of the cause. Fantastic weekend followed!

I understand the notion about the mastering, but on the other hand with many of his analogue productions in mind i think that he tried the digital to sound different, rather analogue-ish, just a fools guess. When it clicks it is quiet satifying and tracks are strong when they get off but 2-3 times i felt the same, tho i left room in my head and thought that´s just the way he wanted it to sound.

The album is terrible. The mixing and mastering is awful. The kicks are lost in the synths in half the tracks. There's probably 2 half decent tracks on the entire album, anyone who has released on TTM in the last 2 years is making far superior music than Promo now. Shows how much people actually understand music who listen to hardcore if you think this is good.
