If you don't like it don't listen to it, simple.
But as dj's we need all sorts of different sounds, and at the end of the day it's all hardstyle you fucking scene kid.

it's not only the kick, nu-style is not as hardstyle should be.
nu-style is happier and has long breaks.
hardstyle shouldnt be happy and have short breaks or no breaks

There is a somewhat clear distinction between (oldschool) hardstyle and nu-style. They are both subgenres of hardstyle but they play out in their own different way.
Take a look at the baseline for example; in (oldschool) hardstyle the baseline is mostly the same throughout the track (yes, it changes pitch/tone from time to time). In nu-style the baseline (and the kick) changes tone according to the melody of the track.
I for one really like some of the nu-style e.g. Wildstylez (he is really proving himself nowadays), Headhunterz (though mostly some of the older stuff he did) but on the other hand I also like what The Prophet is doing, and that is hardstyle (101, you might say).

I can't say I don't like all the nu-style songs there are some really good stuff out there but it's just not the way this music should be.Of course everyone have their own opinion but as I have seen on many comments about this a lot of people are against hardstyle evolving into nu-style.
