Notes:
Major mainstyle alert! The Beat
Controller is a young, but already
well-experienced Dutch DJ and party
organizer (Confusion Events). Besides
his dj skills, he already made himself
a name with the track "Handz on my
ballz" in cooperation with Angerfist.
The track was released on the last
Angerfist album "Mutilate".
Now it's time for his first solo EP.
Both original tracks are rather hard &
kickin', but yet still melodic and
absolutely dancefloor-orientated.
Distorted Revelation, known for their
successful releases on KNOR, deliver a
stunning remix in their unique own
style which will also do well on the
floor.
can someone tell me what WEB is? and why is there a WEB version of vinyls?
WEB is the type of scene-release when the tracks were not ripped from CD or Vinyl but they were bought from one of the official digital stores like junodownload, beatport, hardstyle.com, djdownload etc
they are better than vinyl rips 'cos it's the original digital source from which was later the vinyl or CD pressed (if actually was)
they have no pitch and frequency problem
most (99.99999%) of CDJs play the tracks from that kind of rips =)
Wrong, what you hear on CDs and Vinyls are from far superior sources to digital soundfiles, they are from lossless channel sources from the studio.
Which means jack, since this CD has been encoded as a VBR MP3, which is far inferior to a solid 320kbps MP3, of the type you'll find in a web release.
Incorrect, the different between VBR and your ''solid 320'' is size. People should understand that bitrate doesn't say anything. And than I come to my point, if you want it so badly, why not WAV or lossless? They've got wayy higher bitrates :)
Come back when you have some kind of idea what you're talking about. You're probably one of those idiots that thinks 128kbps is "CD Quality"
Sorry, facts are facts. If you so much believe in 320 than go back to my earlier point. Why not WAV if you are so concerned with ''quality''? Else VBR is just as good as 320 :)
And once more I really want to point out that there is much more than bitrate concerning quality!
Good to see even the Hardcore scene is flooded by noobs that don't understand what they are talking about when it comes to vinyl, not only does vinyl yield better range in all tones (from low to mid to high and everything between) it also resolves clipping that comes with every WEB... Viva la Vinyl!
Of course there is no quality difference between 320Kbps VBR and fixed .. Obviously if we hear the track in an mp3 with headphones why not try recording the same item in the Virtual Dj 128, 192, 250, 320?
I sincerely believe that the quality VBR is a crap because you eat the depth of the kick and bass and treble sounds pretty highlights (cymbals, drums and so on)
Speedcore listening experience I have had "high quality" VBR sound system full blast and then hear the same track at 320 Kbps "Fixed" and the difference is quite remarkable.
Fuck the quality VBR.
