The track lengths are getting less because that's how small people's attention spans are lasting.

Consume, consume consume. Listen to 200 new tracks a day, meaningless garbage being produced by anyone with illegally downloaded fruity loops, cubase etc who know how to loop a kick and bass for 2 minutes.

Illegally downloaded music is so readily available people havnt got time to listen to 5-6 minute tracks when they have 200 tracks a day to listen to.

Tracks like the crap malice makes have zero musicality. It's like a dick mesauring contest to see who can make the hardest kicks to make the rawtards scream "wooooooahhhhh" every drop. When you have zero musical elements or progression in your tracks except hard kicks it's difficult to make a proper length track. These are basically just kicktools.
