Yep. These days anything over 2 minute can be considered "extended". thanks to these kids who has short attention span because they are constantily used to being stimulated by their smartphones pushing notifications about unimportant shit.
I can't like this comment enough, it is so true. Peoples attention spans have become so short that they can only listen to a 2 minute track, no build up, no breakdown just straight to the kick. Its also the same with DJ's mixes, They are so boring now its an hour of kickdrums, no peaks or building up the crowd.
What I always liked, when I used to mix 2 tracks together, is mix it for like a minute or longer before you play the second track full.
Maybe I am an old, too old hardcore head who used to mix vinyls, but with such short tracks you can’t putt in youre mixing skills.
Propobly the youth is mixing these tracks for 15 seconds with the sync button.... Highly skilled dj’s
Maybe they should have a look at the oldschool turntablism.... #REALDJ
It's not only about mixing, I like to listen to a nice buildup and dance to long beatparts. And for people who wanted to jump directly into the "main" track, there was the radio mix. A good track needs around 5 minutes for fully unfolding it's heart.
Ghosted by 50% of sickest squad. This is the end of the hardcore, for have people at party need a ghost produced pussy
