Garbage release. This is what hardcore has become. As a producer myself regarding track length, I usually make 6-7 minute tracks but when you send them to labels they want 4 minute tracks. They want the hard kickdrum and main part of the track to come in at 1:30-2:00 min max. This is because people are dumbing down and peoples attention spans last about 2 minutes these days. Djs are mixing 35-40 tracks a set now, it has become like the main EDM scene and hardcore used to be about creativty now it is about pure cheese and very little creativty. Look at the biggest artists in the scene, people like Dr Peacock getting hundreds of thousand views and his tracks are pure shit.Just a kickdrum over some sample for 4 minutes and people love it.
