And if you really think that uptempo is hard, listen to industrial hardcore, or maybe even industrial techno. These genres at least focus on pounding basslines, not on achieving the loudest and most distorted kick (which in turn sounds softer and cheesier than jumpstyle kicks).

Also holy fucking shit how delusional can you be to think that 150-180 BPM music is downtempo.
