Your opinion is respected, but I think that if you say something is crap, you should also give some arguments for it. Like: kickdrum is not original, lead sound is way too thin, mastering/mixing is not OK etc. etc.
I did not yet listen to this release, will download and post something 'bout it in here.
01 crawl
Nothing very original in this track. The strange sound in the beginning and end I find really annoying. The vocal is not that original too. Boring track.
02 step back
I first thought track 01 was not yet finished, but hey, it was track 2 already... they both sound almost the same.
Do Like the vocal sample. Wobble bass sounds nice too, could have been a bit more crunchy.
Rest of the track is quite boring (again...).
03 remember my name (hellsystem remix)
Was quite sick already of that "remember my name" rap sample, but because it was Hellsystem I thought I'd give it a try. Got annoyed again by the sample, turned of the (until then) boring :) track.
So, not a very good release in my ears... sorry!
nothing special about this release... always the same kick, always the same structure... commercial as hell... in my opinion this is crap...
i agree it is crap just like many hardcore tracks these days even melodys in hardcore these days aint catchy like they're was at one time..
Don't know why so much hate on Juanma.... i think this is better hardcore than most of the new releases of artists like evil activities, endymion, the viper or some random commercial shit... its not 100% original but atleast its hard and i like it.
yes i think often times too many people like something that may sound "new" like the Evil Activities track: Falling, but that still consists of the same hardcore kicks EVERYONE is actually using but less focusing on how "good" and "hard" it is.. it's like for me, I dont like terror because it sounds basically the same with little variation in style, whereas, I rather listen to a legitimately standard-hardcore kick, even if it has consistently similar tempo if it suffices and does not sacrifice the actual sound of "hardcore" but instead it represents it, even for the same artist, as a competent variation of a release.. it's like calling Kanye West a "great" rapper because people like how self-indulging hook-lines he makes with very good audio production, but BORING style, that gets progressively more commercial than the last song, like many of our dear hardcore producers, the most well known may be doing the most harm to the scene, but at the root of it are only trying to not be "boring".. it's a hard balance to strike be both "creative" and innovative while holding true to the roots of the genre, like Evil Act "Broken" and similar songs.. its easy to make a gay sounding pre-break, then make the after-break sound ELITE because the slow buildup means you enjoy a better melody... have to respect artists that stay true to their style and not try to be something that they aren't even if it may sound repetitive.
