It can mess with old SRB "Trash" or CSR etc., it doesn't pretent, just a raw mix of Frenchcore and Terror (I think), and weird themes in the background. Other EPs were better, this very moderate in comparison, but nice anyway. Search for this Artist, he is underrated.

If it's the only way to get back to reasable speeds (some tracks profit from slower speeds), meaty kicks, rhythmic percussions, so ... Even funnier is "Uptempo" for shit that would be badly produced Terror (and even old badly produced Terror is better than "Uptempo") - on the other side, I'm a genre autist, and if there is an obvious variation, that might appear as a new subgenre, so why not?...

Going to join in with the voices who are disappointed. It's all personal taste, but I really would say this album is just...bad.

Next to none of what I used to like from Embryonic is here, mostly just very cheesy melodies and wannabe hardstyle-like cringe. I've never really got the fuss over Promo either, as I've only liked his Rude Awakening alies, so the colab with him is bad too....

The point is that unfortunately nowadays HARDCORE (as a brand)...is associated to cheesy stuff like, N.Vitral, Deadly Gunz, Korsakoff, Paul, and a dozens of "artists" who did their best to ruin the credibility of the genre in the latest 10/15 years.

He explained that DOWNTEMPO was just for that trilogy and the album and eventually people started to call that sound DOWNTEMPO.

Yes they are saying its new, some are saying return to the oldschool but either way it didnt need a new fake genre name to describe millenium hardcore or techno it is nothing new and everything he is doing is bland and nothing special at all. The hardcore scene is a joke.

Was looking forward to this and the album was massively hyped, but I can only listen to a couple of the tracks a few times, Symposium, Darkness Will Fall and the one with Promo. Its a big dissapointment for me compared to his first album. Production is nice but the tracks just dont go anywhere or interest me.

I love how MAd Dog has convinced everyone he has come up with a new style - downtempo. Basically making mundane techno and jumping on the techno bandwagon like Angerfist and slow hardcore that people have been making for years, but hes just give a nice name that people will latch onto so they can tell all their friends they are now into "downtempo" Its hilarious to see how easily people are...
