has somekind of chinese trackname...so we decided to call it
"Unknown".

Darkmatter Soundsystem presents their first 12" vinyl
release by ADC titled the "Giammarco Fratocchi EP"
(DM12002). Hailing from the streets of Rome, ADC have been
producing music together since 1995, the moment that spawned
the legendary "The First Assault" 7" (X-Forces 01) and later
"The Massacre" EP (X-Forces 02). The "Giammarco Fratocchi
EP" follows ADC's most recent work of 2004,
"Teatrodellopera," a 12" collaboration with Somatic
Responses named ADCSomatic on Praxis. Hitting the streets in
late July, ADC assaults with four tracks that veer between
radical distortions and moody midtempo rhythms. The
"Giammarco Fratocchi EP" starts with the storming dancefloor
track "Roma 1943" - intense distorted broken beats with
hard-hitting noises. "Flugbahn" is a midtempo track from the
mid 1990s in which ADC reinterpreted the sounds of hard
techno electronics with driving industrial beats. On the
flip side, dirty synth lines corrupt and mix with splintered
beats in "Against World." Produced in the 1990s, ôUnknownö
starts with atmospheric noises that are soon overtaken by
rhythmic, stepping beats and broken tempos. The extremely
high levels of super-low and super-high frequencies
compounding loud and overdriven beats will rock soundsystems
internationally. These extremely distorted and compressed
dancefloor tracks propel forward the possibilities of
pounding extreme electronics. The "Giammarco Fratocchi EP"
is the productive transgression that continues the
collaborations between Darkmatter and ADC.
